Thanks to those who have messaged me with a reply. It seems that the left image is winning so far! Here’s the version of the Hen without cage, for those who’d like to see that too. I think this is possibly my favourite illustration of the project, unfortunately, without the cage, it communicates very little of Animal Farm or of oppression.
